Overview

Measures: 50" drop x 32" diameter.

An open-cage form armature, ten-light chandelier with faceted crystal drops, cut crystal bobeche and a crystal-encased central shaft. A Venetian form executed in France.

Provenance: Designer Rybar Valarian with his partner Jean-Francois Daigre designed the interiors for their masterpiece at "Tranquilla", an Italian Palazzo on Biscayne Bay in Miami Beach for the Candib family in the mid-1980s. Tranquilla was originally built in 1936 for the Maytags. This chandelier, which hung in the dining salon, was commissioned by Mr. Valarian in France specifically for the room.
