Set of 12 George III mahogany dining chairs with pierced vase splats, the drop in seats on square chamfered legs joined by "H" stretchers chairs have an umber tone and appear dark but finish is deep and rich with undertones of brown and red reflecting through combined with the beautiful tight grain of the mahogany. Elegant but simple form and comfortable with wide seats. Chairs show some wear which is consistent with their age and use but are in excellent mechanical condition.
