A rustic Swedish Gustavian 18th Century secretary in a grey white milk paint applied over multiple layers of previous finishes features a bookcase/cupboard seated on a fall-front, slant top secretary that opens to a desk with a cubby and four small drawers. The base cabinet offers three large storage drawers all with original locks and period brass pulls. Fall front can be opened without the support of the drawer. It has been photographed both ways.

CONDITION
Good. White milk paint is more recent and has been applied over multiple layers of previous paint finishes. Cabinet is joined using 18th century techniques. Drawers are dovetailed and pegged. Cabinet is mortice and tennon construction fastend by wood pegs.
