Overview
A handsome English Regency linen press in mahogany with two cabinet doors over base with two drawers over two longer storage drawers. Offers five interior sliding trays. Doors feature inset oval panels in flame mahogany with line inset in satinwood surrounded by figured mahogany. Includes working lock & key. England, circa 1830. Restored & French-polished in our workshop.

50" wide (47 1/2" at waist) x 24 1/2" deep (21 3/4" at waist) x 81" high.

Replacements made: Wooden knobs, although original to the 19th century, are not original to the Linen Press which would have had brass plates & pulls (as evidenced by the plugs at either side of the pulls). Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. We have restored & polished the Linen Press in our workshop. All of the locks are original, but not all of them are working. The main door lock of the cabinet works with key provided.
