Overview
A small French Louis Philippe vitrine or bookcase in beautiful figured walnut with a single door that has two long glass panels, with a long glass panel on each of the sides. All of the glass is blown and original to the piece. Wooden panels along the front and sides offer concealed storage. Interior features a mirrored back intended to enhance the view of a collection. The diminutive scale facilitates the placement of this handsome piece for use with books, collectibles or towels! Northern Europe, likely France, circa 1850.
