Overview
An exceptionally beautiful farm house table from Austria in fruit wood with the rich patina of age acquired from its two hundred-fifty-year history! Originally a multi-purpose table, it would have served as a dining table as well as a table used in the preparation of food and housed bread and utensils in its deep and long drawers whose fascia are decorated with small etched field flowers. The box stretcher would have provided a foot-rest in addition to rendering the table stronger. Offers pegged construction, dovetailed drawers and original wooden pulls.
This Alpine Farm House Table would make a wonderful island in a kitchen. It could work as a pastry table or food preparation station.
