Overview
A lovely French Louis XV "buffet à deux corps" or cupboard in French pitch pine with chapeau de gendarme top, brass chicken wire on upper door panels, original key plates and carved escargot feet. France, circa 1770.
Makes a beautiful linen, china or pantry cupboard!
Dimensions:
53 1/2" (waist) - 56 1/2" (crown) wide x 17" deep x 94 3/4" high
From floor to top of bottom 40 1/2" high, inside depth on top 12 1/2", inside depth on bottom 15 1/4"
Note: If desired, top cabinet could be raised off the bottom and hung on the wall to create separation.
