Bonnin Ashley Custom-Made Full-Size Cannonball Bed in Poplar

Custom cannonball bed inspired by an early 19th century American bed in our inventory. Built in our workshop out of poplar and expertly stained and finished, this bed offers the comfort of a standard full-size bed with the Fine craftsmanship we are accustomed to offering with our antique furniture. Bed assembles using traditional iron bed bolts and the box spring is supported by bed irons.
Shown in poplar, finished like mahogany. this wood can also be stained to resemble walnut
Note: Takes a standard full-size box spring and mattress.

Poplar, as shown $6500 \nSolid Mahogany $8400\nAmerican Black Walnut $7400\nRed Maple and America Cherry when available $6500.\nWe can also make this bed in a queen size add $1000\nThe traditional wood used for this type of bed was poplar which was then stained to look like mahogany or walnut. Poplar is more readily available in square stock large enough to turn the legs.
