Continental 19th Century French Walnut Armoire Outfitted to Function as a Bar

This beautiful and massive armoire in French walnut, has been outfitted as a bar cabinet. The interior features a wine rack that will hold 47 bottles, a slab of green marble has been added with cupboards flanking 2 drawers in the middle. The cupboard interiors are 15" high and the marble counter top is 64" long x 22 3/4" deep. The armoire has exceptional hardware including large original fiche hinges and an original key and lock. Interior bayonet bolts are impressive and the key plates and drawer plates are also original. Armoire has great curb appeal as it presents well and has a well appointed interior. It appears to be 17th century at first glance but is out of period dating from the 19th century. Beautiful patina!

Armoire has undergone restorations and alterations but presents very well and looks to be 17th century at first glance. It is however from the 19th century. Blocking has been updated on crown and base and interior of passive door. Beautiful patina!
