Danish Silver Cabinet in Figured Walnut, circa 1870

As in all things Danish when it come to design, execution and selection of wood this is perfection. 2 doors over 3 drawers with a 4th drawer above the cupboard and 3 small interior drawers this pedestal top silver cabinet with ebonized turned feet is perfect for adaptation as a bar or a small TV cabinet in a guest room providing ample storage and a perfect small cabinet space. The wood is figured crotch walnut highlighted by ebonized trim. The locks are all working and cabinet comes with 2 keys, one for the drawers and one for the cabinet doors. Additional keys can be made on request. Drawers glide easily and are operated by using the key as a pull. The original finish is French polish that has been refurbished in our workshop using the same materials and methods that were used in the 19th century.
