French Walnut Sleigh Day Bed with Articulated Carvings in a Provincial Style

Exceptional French sleigh bed in solid French walnut, circa 1840. There are no appliqué's, headboard, footboard and side rail are carved from solid walnut. Carvings are well articulated, lively and expressive. Bed has been restored in our workshop and French polished.
Bunkey board foundation and mattress are not included but we can order them from a local custom mattress maker upon request or have an upholstered foundation with jute straps and 8 way hand tied springs and foam with COM fabric. Mattress or upholstered solutions can be quoted.
Measures: 85 1/2" long x 39" deep x 38" high.
