Overview
A lovely Louis XVI style salon suite comprising of: (1) canape or settee, (2) armchairs, (2) side chairs & an oval tea table. Sweden, circa 1915. Carved wooden frames have the original white/grey Gustavian paint with just the right amount of distressing to render them very charming. Details include carved swag & acanthus-leaf motifs, with turned & fluted legs & saber rear legs. While more recent but not new, the striped fabric is in a very pale robin’s egg-blue, and is in very good condition and affords comfortable seating.

(1) Settee: 50" long x 23" deep x 39 1/2" high (Seat height: 18 1/2")
(2) Armchairs: 24" wide x 22" deep x 39 1/2" high (Seat height: 18 1/2")
(2) Side Chairs: 18" wide x 19" deep x 36" high (Seat height: 18 1/2")
(1) Oval Table: 34 1/2" long x 24" wide x 29" high.
