20" wide x 21" deep x 38" high.
A handsome and very comfortable set of four French dining chairs with upholstered back and seat. Ebonized frame has carved crest and apron, turned front legs with casters and turned back spindles. From the reign of Napoleon III, France, circa 1870.
Note: Ebonized frame has been restored, with joints tightened prior to re-upholstering with muslim. Seats have original eight-way, hand-tied spring construction.

CONDITION
Excellent. Restored and French polished, re-upholstered. Jute strapping replaced, original springs hand sewn to strapping and eight way hand tied. Fresh cotton batting over original horse hair and covered in muslin. Original burlap form preserved on seat back.
