A very handsome English country manor house hunt board in figured mahogany from the Georgian period. Features a base that rests on long square legs with spade feet, housing a drawer for bottles on the right side, two storage drawers for utensils on the left, and a convex center drawer that bows out, adding an important sculptural element. This sideboard is offered in antique condition, meaning it is very relaxed has some missing fragments of some moldings in places, some checks in the wood, and blemishes. Perfect for the antique lover who is looking for an English period sideboard that has not been overly-restored and celebrates the charm of age and patina. Drawers work well, England, circa late 1700s.
