17 1/2 ' Long Antique Racetrack Extension Dining Table in West Indies Mahogany

An exceptional extension dining table in fine mahogany that opens to 17' 7" long & seats 16 comfortably. Denmark, circa 1890. In its smallest form, the table starts as an oval-shaped table (67" l x 51 1/4" w) made of fine plum mahogany & offers 6 skirted leaves that come in (2) leaf boxes for transport & safe storage when not in use. Table has a racetrack top & rests on streamlined cabriole legs with padded feet. Two solid leg supports drop down to lend added support to the table when extended, after the use of 3 leaves. Table has been beautifully restored & French-polished in our studio.
