The mahogany employed is an excellent tight-grained, West Indies species known widely as Cuban mahogany, and the craftsmanship exhibited throughout is superb. The tilt-top mechanism allowed the table to be showcased in the corner of a room when not in use. In addition to offering ample dining for four (up to 6 depending on chair size), this special piece would make a striking center table in a foyer. French polish finish.
