Overview

In the closed position, the table is 54" in diameter. It opens to a racetrack measuring 9'1" in length, with (4) 13.5 original, un-skirted leaves. Comes with original leaf box for storage of four plates when not in use. Table can extend to 10'4", but would need an additional leaf. Base and top are clamped in the 54"closed position, and leaves can be inserted one at a time and clamped as well to give you varying lengths up to 109".

A classical American Empire extension dining table in mahogany with round top and apron over cylinder pedestal resting on quatre-form base ending with carved lions' paw feet. Includes four original leaves/plates. New York, circa 1830.

Perfect as a center table or small dining table in the closed position that can be used as an extended dining table when needed.

Comfortably seats eight and up to ten when open with four existing leaves, and comfortably seats four and up to six when closed as a 54" round center pedestal table.
