Overview
An early Biedermeier cabinet in beautiful ash wood whose etched glass upper doors were a subsequent addition during the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) period. Germany, circa 1835 (or earlier).
Makes a great bar, bookcase, cupboard or linen cabinet!
Measures: 42 1/2" wide x 17 1/4" deep x 80 1/2" high

Materials and Techniques: French-polished Ash, Birch, Glass
Other Characteristics: Polished Ash, etched glass
Condition: Good. Original wooden panels on bottom doors were replaced with glass at some point in its history. Etched glass upper panels date to around 1890. Interior is painted black. Exterior has a French-polish finish.
