A fine chest with four drawers in book-matched, crotch West Indies mahogany with serpentine front and resting on carved slipper feet. Features a serpentine top in quarter-sawn sapele (African mahogany) with mahogany sliding drawer covers inside top drawer, and working locks with one antique key. French-polish finish. Sweden, circa 1850.
