38" wide x 20 1/2" deep x 32 1/4" high
A very fine bowed-front Empire commode with four drawers on tapered feet in the finest book-matched mahogany. Satinwood inlays depicting two sphinxes decorate the top drawer which offers the original lidded compartments. Denmark, circa 1810. French-polish finish.
Works well in a contemporary environment with its clean lines and polished finish.
Our restoration and French polish is museum quality. Chest is in an excellent near flawless condition with minor wear consistent with age and use
