A great decorative clock whose dial and case are from the early 1800s. Exceptional bonnet of thin repoussé depicting a bacchanalian scene surrounding porcelain enamel dial from Saint-Martin-d'Auxigny, France. Cherrywood case with chapeau de gendarme bonnet. Movement is 20th century from "Western Germany" and signed.
