25" wide x 11" deep x 92" high.
Eight day English Pagoda clock with 18th century movement attributed to Jacob Lovelace. Movement features eight bell chimes and a musical pin barrel which has eight chiming keys. Movement which can be dated between 1720-1730 has three cast iron weights. The engraved brass dial with cast spandrels and moon medallion is inscribed with the Latin words Tempus Fugit meaning "Times Fly." The bonnet has fully turned fluted columns with cast brass capitals and turned brass hardware on the column plinths. Clock is mahogany, base has a bracket foot with quarter turned fluted columns.
