Overview
An exquisite pair of antique English regency side chairs in beautiful mahogany
with very fine marquetry inlays of classical motifs in satinwood. Chairs are embellished with inlaid bandings & line inlays throughout, highlighted by inlays of acanthus foliage, lilies of the valley, corn flowers & mythological griffins that face each other on the crest rail. Seats have caning and legs are of a tapered-square, saber form. England, circa 1830. Restored with French polish in our workshop.

Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. This fine pair of lady's chairs are delicate. They have been expertly restored & French-polished in our workshop. The caning sags slightly.
