A Swedish Empire style bench in carved and gilt wood with polychrome background and upholstered seat. From the Belle Époque period, circa 1900 or earlier. Carvings are well-articulated & frame has a great deal of character with its worn antique finish.
Measures: 43" long x 15" deep x 19 1/2" high.
