Overview
A fine Louis Philippe salon table with oval top and scalloped apron resting on four graceful carved cabriole legs. Top and legs are made of solid mahogany, with the apron made of burl walnut. France, circa 1840. Makes a handsome small dining table, or a striking center table in an entrance foyer!

Refinished. Additions or alterations made to the original: At some point in the table's history, the table's height was raised with the lengthening of the legs by a small addition to the bottom feet (as shown). This was done so well that it slipped our notice until we were in the process of photographing it. Wear consistent with age and use. Table has been restored and French polished in our workshop.
