Overview
A beautiful custom-made European oak dining table with cabriole legs, carved knee and hand fitted parquetry top. Made entirely from repurposed solid antique oak that is over 200 years old and imported in the late 1990's.
The wood for these tables was harvested in East Germany just after the wall came down. They were "Volk" houses that were fashioned out of 200-year-old squared pine and oak logs. The logs were milled into timbers and then used to fabricate the tables. Table is finished in a hand-rubbed oil finish using a LEED certified organic oil. Can be cleaned up after use with warm water and soap.

Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Very well-made table of beautiful solid European 200-year-old white oak. Hand-rubbed oil finish using a LEED certified organic oil. Gaps between parquetry were filled w/ hard wax. Top is easy to clean & maintain w/ damp sudsy sponge & towel to dry.
