Overview
A Renaissance Revival Cupboard or Vaiselier in the style of Louis XIII from Brittany, France, c. 1890. In a richly dark, carved French oak with sliding doors in the center flanked by two hinged doors at either side, offering lots of storage. Open shelf on bottom is perfect for confit pots. There is the depiction of Christian symbolism carved into the center panels of the center doors with the monogram "IHS. IHSOUS," which is "Jesus" in Latin, with a cross above the "H" and the sacred heart below it.
A beautifully ornamented piece that offers great storage capacity and can be used as a pantry, cupboard or for linens!
