Antique Tall Chest of Drawers in Burled Walnut with Ebonized Accents & Pedestal Top, circa 1870

A handsome tall chest on chest in beautiful burled walnut with ebonized accents. Offers seven drawers of variegated heights with their original working locks and one key, original turned feet, and a distinctive pedestal top. Drawers operate smoothly using the key as a pull. Additional keys can be made upon request. Chest can dismantle into two sections to facilitate transportation & installation. Denmark, circa 1870.

Chest has been fully restored and French polished. All drawers are in good mechanical condition as well as the locks and function well. Secondary wood is oak.

Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Chest of drawers is fully restored and French polished. It is completely original with no replacements parts. Restoration was minor involving re-gluing only. In great condition all drawers and locks are working well.
