A very fine North German Biedermeier parcel-ebonized walnut commode with top above a single drawer floridly inlaid with scrolling acanthus marquetry, the second convex-drawer inlaid with a scrolling foliate lunette and flanked by ebonized columns, and the bottom drawer in bookmatched figured walnut on a shaped square base, circa 1820.
