A small Empire or Biedermeier Chest in Mahogany with three drawers, the first two flanked by columns with corynthian capitals, and the bottom drawer with shaped and convex front. Germany, circa 1815. French-polish finish.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES: Polished Mahogany
CONDITION: Excellent. French-polish finish. While very lovely, nickel pulls were added during the late 1800's. Original locks are all functioning.
WEAR: Wear consistent with age and use
