Overview
A more compact version of a classic model, this functional pedestal desk in light, golden oak is unusual in that it can float in a room and has the original casters, making it mobile too. Features a gallery above a cylinder top that opens to a desk with inset leather green blotters with gilded embossed edge; the center with an adjustable lectern or drafting surface and six small drawers & five open letter slots. Offers a storage drawer above knee hole with fours drawers flanking each side on the pedestals. Comes with original turned & carved, wooden pulls. England, circa 1900.
