A very handsome Karl Johan or Biedermeier secretary in birch with ebonized details whose drawer-front opens to an ample and beautiful ebonized and faux tortoise shell desk offering two letter drawers flanking the central cubby, which are again flanked by three drawers on each side. Features three long storage drawers below desk. Sweden, circa 1830.
