A pair of lovely shield-back armchairs in mahogany with open carving of three ostrich plumes tied by a bow, a reference to the Prince of Wales who was the Prince Regent before becoming King (George III). Offers a wide upholstered seat and turned, carved and fluted legs. England, circa early to mid-1800s.
