Overview
A fine pair of Jacobean Style throne chairs from the late 1800s with carved royal plumes, block and barley turnings, and upholstered back and seat. A very similar throne chair is seen in the new PBS series "Victoria" at Windsor castle when Victoria is being introduced to the lords and ladies prior to her coronation. Chairs are beautifully upholstered with Fine fabric and decorative brass nails. English or Flemish, circa 1860.
