Overview
An early Victorian armchair in mahogany with curved top rail, scrolled arms, turned front legs and saber back legs. Seat is upholstered in a tufted, beige/camel-colored leather with brass nailheads. England, circa 1840. Note: There are a pair of side chairs offered separately that were part of the set: LU988117711531.
Makes a handsome and comfortable desk chair!

Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Chair is in very good condition w/ wear consistent w/ age & use. Frame was cleaned & polished. Leather seat is strong, has a lovely patina & is in antique serviceable condition w/ some superficial cracks & chafe marks. Chair is strong & comfortable.
