From the American Belle Époque, sometimes referred to as the gilded age a beautiful round extension dining table that opens to a racetrack with six leaves that lengthen it from a 5 1/2 foot round to 12 foot long. Table rests on a pedestal with legs with acanthus carvings on the knees and four carved lions' paw feet on casters. A support column is housed inside the pedestal that opens and is needed when the table exceeds 92". A fumed umber finish with hand rubbed linseed oil and varnish top coat. Table comes with a total of (6) leaves; (2) with aprons and (4) leaves without aprons, each measuring 13" wide. The leaves are housed in their original leaf box when being stored.

Closed without leaves: 66" round;
Fully-extended with (6) leaves: 12" long x 66" wide
Photos 1-8 show the table in its first 3 positions with skirted leaves and the center pedestal closed. In this position it will seat 8 comfortably.
Once you go beyond this with the third leaf the center base has to open and the additional leaves are not skirted. Opens to 12'
Each leaf is 13" wide

Additions or alterations made to the original: Round turn clamps were added under the table to secure the leaves when in place. Table can have brass casters or self leveling commercial glides. The glides work best for wood and tile and the casters for carpet. Customers choice. Refinished. Solid mahogany table refinished with a fumed umber patina with multiple coats of hand rubbed linseed oil and a satin varnish top coat. Beautiful finish that allows the mahogany to take on the color characteristic of black walnut tinted with umber.
