Leg clearance from floor to underside of the apron 23 3/8".
Pine table with drawer fabricated from, reclaimed cheese boards originating from the Gouda factory in Holland finished with a light wax on base and drawer and with an organic LED certified catalyzed tung oil on the top. Table is fabricated with a mortise and peg construction, the drawer has a sliding dove tail in the front and the drawer bottoms are solid pine chamfered planks. The top is connected to the base using a 19th century method to allow movement which helps to prevent checking. This table is a faithful reproduction of a Scandinavian Jugendstil antique writing table in our collection, circa 1900.
Tables can be painted or left in natural pine.
