Overview

An exquisite game table in rosewood with fine floral inlays in various woods over the parquetry top. Bronze doré ormolu mounts decorate knees of cabriole legs, borders top & include sabots on the front two feet. Line inlays embellish the sculpted, bombe-shaped apron. Hinged top swivels & opens to a square revealing a green felt gaming surface. France, circa 1880.
