Bonnin Ashley Custom-Made Sideboard in Reclaimed Pine

A Bonnin Ashley custom-made sideboard, with four cabinet doors, floating side panels and a sandwich board top. All of the joinery is mortice and Tenon construction and all floating panels are chamfered including the back of the cabinet with tongue and groove assembly. Cabinet is made from repurposed pine planks sourced from the Gouda-cheese factory in the Netherlands. These cheeseboards were originally used as planks for the freshly waxed cheese wheels to sit on while aging. The planks were joined in about 1940 and provide us with a great source of wood for building pine cabinets and tables that will take a patina like there 19th century antique European counterparts
